GM & Paramount Pictures Wants to Transform Your Ride!

As a part of the marketing campaign for the upcoming Transformers live action movie that will be released in theaters this coming July 4th, Paramount Pictures and General Motors Corp. worked together to bring the “Transform Your Ride Sale” promo to automotive consumers.
The “Transform Your Ride Sale” will allow new car buyers to get 0% APR for 36 months and a $1,000 gift cash in selected GM vehicle models including:
Chevrolet: 2006 and 2007 Cobalt, Monte Carlo, Impala, HHR, TrailBlazer, Tahoe, Suburban, Avalanche and 2007 900-series Silverado
Buick: 2006 and 2007 Lacrosse, Lucerne and Rainier
Pontiac : 2006 and 2007 G5, G6, Grand Prix and Torrent
GMC: Envoy, Yukon, Yukon Denali, Yukon XL, Yukon XL Denali and 2007 900-series Sierra
“People who have recently switched to a GM vehicle tell us we’ve really changed their previous perceptions about our products. They love their new car or truck,” said Jim Campbell, GM’s director of Customer Relationship Management.

GM has developed several “Transform Your Ride” TV spots featuring the characters in Transformers movie. Michael Bay, the director of Transformers movie was also the TV Campaign Director for the marketing ads. In addition, the “Transform Your Ride” ads will also conquer other media including radio spots, print advertising, and digital online advertising.
