New James Bond Movie: Soon
James Bond fans would surely love this news-- Variety.com has recently posted an article stating that the team over at EON an acronym that stands for “Everything Or Nothing” in cooperation with Sony Pictures are discussing the return of James Bond to the big screen with a current running title James Bond 22.
The film is still in its pre-production stages however there is already a target release date and that is on November of 2008. So for now let us just content ourselves with the limited info available. It’s better than not having anything at all.
Anyway according to reports the script for the James Bond 22 will be taken from the Casino Royale scribes created by Neil Purvis, Robert Wade and Paul Haggis. Director Martin Campbell will be replaced by Marc Forster while Daniel Craig will again takes on the role of James Bond.
The new James Bond 22 promises to be even more thrilling as the last one. And of course, no James Bond movie is complete without an equally enthralling car. For the Casino Royale, our hero gets to drive one of Ford’s most awesome creations---an Aston Martin supercar based on the DB9. Under its hood is a throbbing 530bhp 6.0 liter V12 which has made Guinness Book of Records for the greatest number of barrel rolls. As a fact for one scene in the film the Aston Martin supercar has accomplished 7.75 barrel rolls.
Sony’s co-chairman Amy Pascual in an interview with Variety said, "What we found is that you can strip away a lot of the bells and whistles, but it still feels uniquely like a Bond film. Throughout the history of the franchise, the actors, tone and style of the films have changed, but the fundamental essence of what makes Bond endures."
EON head Barbara Broccoli has realized with the previous Casino Royale that the expectation that comes with any James Bond is really high. She said, "Casino Royale has set a new standard, and it's now a question of meeting those expectations for the next one and delivering a film that is emotional and dramatic as well as action-packed."
Haggis also added that in terms of story, "It will be the same Bond you saw in Casino, a very human and flawed assassin, a man who has to navigate a morally complex and often cynical world while attempting to hold onto his deep beliefs of what is right and wrong."
The James Bond 22 will serve as a sort of continuation of the Casino Royale where our hero was last seen chasing after an organization with the Casino as a hint. He was trying to find out who was behind the Le Chiffre operation.
Nobody mentioned about the rest of the plot fortunately Craig has provided a small clue when he said, "He also has to deal with revenge because he has lost the girl. Bond is still maybe too headstrong, and he doesn't make all of the right decisions." So, ok even that didn’t help much but again it’s better than nothing.
I don’t know about you guys but what really gets me excited about this film is the car which will be used by our hero. Is it going to be another one of Ford’s or from other automakers? That we will have to see and wait but for now in case any of you is searching for quality Volvo brakes please kindly click on the link.
