The Darjeeling Limited

The Darjeeling Limited is a film about three brothers who have not spoken to each other since their father’s funeral a year ago and now tries to reconnect with each other. The characters are Francis Whitman played by Owen Wilson with brothers Peter portrayed by Adrien Brody and Jack played by Jason Schwartzman. This film is the latest in Wes Anderson’s film.

And just like the last three films of Anderson wherein problems between parents and children have been the highlight, The Darjeeling Unlimited will still display the same subject but with a twist that will involved a spiritual quest that gone awry caused by events that involve over-the-counter pain killers, Indian cough syrup, and pepper spray. As if that is not enough, these three brothers have found themselves stranded all alone in the middle of the desert with eleven suitcases, a printer, and a laminating machine. This sudden change of events has led them to take on an unplanned journey that would involve attending a mournful funeral which leads to Peter’s insistence on reclaiming their dad’s motor from the repair shop which is a scarlet vintage Porsche that could very use a Porsche car cover.
